Yall say no southern belles, well im from the south and sure you could say im kind of a southern belle but Im deffinately more of cowgirl. I read your what makes a northern cowgirl list and I have to say but we do all those thing, but we do it WITH RESPECT, and in 110 degree weather. I realize that were just about the same, but its a hell of a lot harder to be a girl in the south! You’re so right. Because I’ve gotten NOTHING but respect for all the Southern Belles who have message me. NOTHING BUT!!!! How could I be so rude.
And you’re right again. Because in the North we don’t have 117% humidity. Heat wave? What the hell is that? We don’t have tornados. Or earthquakes. Or experience hurricanes. Nope. Not at all. And that snow? Not as bad you we make it out to be at all. I mean, having to work in 4 feet of snow or more in -40 degrees plus wind chill really isn’t that bad.

I love and respect all your posts, but you should know that not all southern bells are rude and catty. I can certainly believe that. I know that there are nice girls out there that call themselves Southern Belles. Just, the ones I’ve met are just as you said… rude and catty.

I've always found that the only people who have a problem with "northern" country and cowgirls are the ones who truly aren't cowgirls nor are they very country. Too bad... We're pretty freakin' cool. Everything here is country which includes the SOUTH!!!! - Yes. The country does include the South. It also includes the North, East, West, and all over the world.
so stfu about no southern belles - No. I believe I will not “stfu” about no Southern Belles because A) This is my blog and B) All the “southern belles” I’ve ever met were not oh so kind, so I would rather they take their blessed hearts and go somewhere else. Southern cowgirls however are more then welcome! :D
the south is where country started!!!! - Is this stated somewhere in a history book? I have never seen any historical documents that state such things so I don’t know where Southerners get that. If I had to say that country “started” in a particular place, I would probably say it started in the Old West. Ya know? Like the CO, WY, NV area.

country is country doesn’t matter the location. - Yet you seem quite upset about “the south is where country started!!!!” And have I not already said these exact words like 50,000 times? If country has no location, why are there so many country/redneck/hick blogs that cater exclusively to the South? Why do so many people come to this blog and bitch about it being a blog dedicated more specifically to Northern country folk (though it does apply to Southern cowgirls as well)?
